Mike McCoy Scheduled to Interview For Chargers Job Tomorrow. Arians Rescheduled

Mike McCoy and the Denver Broncos were favorites to go to the Super Bowl. Then they ran into the Baltimore Ravens and were derailed on their playoff tour.

Now, McCoy is available to interview for head coaching jobs. McCoy has been scheduled to interview for the San Diego Chargers head coaching vacancy tomorrow and Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians has been rescheduled for a Wednesday interview.

Was it McCoy’s choice to be conservative with some of the play calling late in the game or was that the call from Denver head coach John Fox?

McCoy has already interviewed with the Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles. Now it is Tommy Telesco’s turn to see if McCoy has the qualities he is looking for.

Interesting that the Bolts decided to push back Arians on his trip to fit in McCoy. The action just doesn’t stop in the search for our head coach.

i think Telesco knows Arians. so there isn’t much to talk about. An Telesco is being smart and not just interested in hiring a former colleague.

I could have it wrong, but I read somewhere that McCoy is talking to AZ again this week and he wants to make his decision this week, so SD was smart to at least get in the mix before the guy cuts off interviews. Also we will probably get a coach this week with the Shrine game and the other game coming up. Coaches usually in place before the game.

i can see that. honestly think about who is in the final 4? Falcons, 49ers, patriots, ravens. can you name some coaches you would want to hire from those teams? Caldwell? McDaniels? Capers? i can’t even name them…
