San Diego Chargers Interviewed Seahawks DC Gus Bradley Last Night

It sounds like someone snuck through last night to interview for the San Diego chargers head coaching vacancy. Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley found his way to San Diego to interview for the head coaching vacancy with Tom Telesco, per Albert Breer.

Bradley has one of the most talented secondaries in the league with the Seahawks. His defense is ranked first in points allowed per game and 4th in yards allowed per game.

The Seahwaks hired Bradley on in 2009 under coach Jim Mora. When Mora was fired, Bradley stayed on to work under Pete Carroll. Together, Bradley and Mora have transformed the Seahawks defense into a powerhouse.

Who knows who he would bring on as an offensive coordinator and who knows what type of defense he will choose to run. He doesn’t run a 3-4 defense either, so it could mean the end for John Pagano, unless Pags can adapt or Bradley switches his scheme up. I couldn’t see Bradley switching up something that has been so successful though.

Hummmm. I think I like it. Tough no Bullshit kinda guy. But what the hell is he doing interviewing right now, dont they have a playoff game coming up??? Maybe we can hire him away before the game just to fuck with Pete…

that would be hilarious, but they wouldn’t announce anything until after them Seahawks got ousted out of the playoffs

No I got that, but it would be nice to bust Pistol Pete’s balls. dude is such a tool, but he does get the team to win…

i know. hard to hate when he has that team winning. actually, makes you hate even more

HAHAHA exactly just like Brady and Belicheat

I don’t think it would work. Plus, I thought they couldn’t do interviews until after the playoffs. Probably just a rumor.

I’d be nervous about this, if I were Jammer and Cason..lol… who should just be nervous, in general. Do you think a new HC would push to have Jammer moved to SS, now that Taylor tore his ACL? Bigby clearly isn’t the answer… Lynch played decently, but is probably not a solution (I think, anyway). What do you guys think?

i hope Jammer is given that chance. I think his time at corner is done, but still think he could work as a safety. All depends on who they get as coach

I kinda like this guy. Young and innovative. But only if he focuses on being a HC and keeps Pagano around to run the D.
