It was almost for sure that Andy Reid was heading to the Arizona Cardinals, but then he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. It was almost for sure that Chip Kelly would be the next Browns head coach, then he decided to stay at Oregon. That is the game that these head coaches are playing right now. Their camps are sending out rumors to build more interest and then taking the money from the highest bidder.

For the next rumor that says the Chargers are 95% sure to signing such-and-such coach, remember that there is that HUGE 5% of doubt. These “sources” are playing that game with everyone.

Right now, Chip Kelley appears to be headed back to college. It must suck being a Browns fan. They were so close to having Kelly and now they have to continue their hunt. Now their hunt may lead them to candidates that were on the Chargers wish list.
