Are the San Diego Chargers interested in interviewing Arizona Cardinals Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton. Horton’s name is not one that exactly brings excitement to the franchise. The actual rumor is being spread by Horton himself.

“I’ve got an interview with Buffalo this afternoon (Wednesday),” Horton told the Arizona media after interviewing with the Cardinals. “And that’s the last one on the book. I’ve heard rumors, not substantiated by me, that Kansas City and San Diego are interested. I don’t know that because I haven’t talked to my agent today.”

So who started these rumors? To me it sounds like Horton did, but he didn’t.

Anyway, Horton has been with the Cards for 2 seasons and help them turn that defense around. His name will get linked to a lot of teams as he can help fulfill the Rooney rule.
