Who is your substitute playoff team?

The Chargers are not in the playoffs, but they start in a few days!  To enjoy the playoffs you need to find a temporary substitute for the Chargers, so have you decided who you are going to follow to the Super Bowl?

I typically stay with AFC to stay as loyal as I can to my Bolts.  This season, the natural choice for my substitute is the Indianapolis Colts.  Not only are they a great team with rookie QB Andrew Luck (that I would have picked in the draft), but their head coach, Chuck Pagano is battling leukemia.  Also, Colt’s rhyme with Bolts and they are both horses, so there you go.

This year I am also going to root for an NFC team.  I have been really enjoying watching the Vikings this year with Adrian Peterson and Christian Ponder.  Not to mention I’m Norwegian, which means I have Viking roots and I look good in purple.

So, those are my teams and my reasons.  What are yours?

Indy for me but I’ll follow Washington and San Francisco just because. And if someone beats Denver coming out of the bye, I’ll laugh and laugh…
