Lovie Smith Fired By Chicago Bears

He first surprise on Black Monday happened when the Chicago Bears fired head coach Lovie Smith today. Smith has been unable to take the team to the playoffs for 5 of the last 6 seasons and the new GM in town will be looking to find his own head coach.

Smith was unable to build up the Bears offense. But who has that type of magic with Rex Grossman and Jay Cutler as your quarterback. The Bears defense has always been strong and Lovie should get another opportunity somewhere.

The dominoes keep falling.

Call him now! He’s a good coach. A huge upgrade from Norv and someone who I’m sure is hungry to prove himself.

I wouldn’t mind this at all. Team him up with a good offensive coordinator (Norv… Just kidding). Maybe Whisenhunt though. And that is a solid staff.
