The Kansas City Chiefs fired their head coach Romeo Crennel today, but still have not made a decision on GM Scott Pioli. Hopefully that means Pioli can still keep Matt Cassel as their starting quarterback. Or Brady Quinn. The Chiefs had the worst team in the league and hold the top draft pick this season, but they also had 5 Pro Bowlers on their roster.

Crennel could be asked to be a defensive coordinator somewhere. There will be a lot of new openings around in the league and Crennel should find a job with one of them.

And the next domino falls.
