Chargers 24 - Raiders 21: Norv's Goodbye Party

Philip Rivers has just looked like a much better quarterback of late. He has a record of 3-0 while wearing gloves this season. The game started off nicely with Micheal Spurlock taking the opening kickoff in for a score. He sparked the team last week with a punt return for a score last week and was named the AFC special teams player of the week. He could be looking forward to the same award this week.

Philip threw a pair of touchdowns in the game. He threw one to Antonio Gates and also hit a long pass down the sideline to Danario Alexander. Alexander has been a huge impact since joining the team.

The defense was able to contain Terrelle Pryor for most of the game. Pryor extended plays on multiple occasions, but he didn’t make enough plays to get the win. He threw a paid of touchdowns and also ran one in. He looked comfortable at quarterback and I expect to see more of him next season.

The Chargers attempted to blow another lead at the end of the game, but they barely held on in the end. They allowed their third blocked punt of the year and allowed the Raiders to pull within 3 in the final 2 minutes.

With the win the Chargers will have the 11th pick in the draft.
