Andy Reid Wants To Coach The Chargers

According to Pro Football Talk, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid has his eyes set on coaching the San Diego Chargers. Andy Reid is likely to join Norv Turner in the unemployment line on Black Monday.

If Reid were to come over as the head coach, he would not have the same control that he had in Philly. Reid was the architect of the “Dream Team” that failed to live up to it’s name. Jimmy Raye and John Spanos likely would be calling the shots as the GM for the team.

Reid may want to head out to San Diego, but will the Chargers want him to lead the crew.

Let’s just replace incompetent with stupid. NO thanks!

Please Mr. Spanos, I am begging you, do not hire this man. You will be hiring another Norv Turner. Too much alike, “players” coaches. You want to sell out every game? Hire Gruden. Your ticket sales will dramatically increase instantaneously.

If Jon Gruden is hired as the HC then you will see some early results; however by the end of the third season it will be another Norv (six seasons of failures) Turner experiment. Get a young energetic guy who is innovative and can build a winning franchise for the long term. If John Spanos assumes more control we will be entering another era of failures just like that of A. J. Smith. The Bolts organization will become the dumping ground for the NFL’s cast off’s, Coaches, Players and Position Coordinators. Any Spanos in a position of authority or control will spell long term doom for my Chargers.
