Pro Bowl Announced Later Today: Could It Be Charger-Less?

The Pro Bowl will be announced later today and there is a chance that the game will be without any Chargers. There are some players that are deserving, but it might be tough to justify a player from a losing squad to make the roster over other players.

Here are the few players that could deserve some consideration for the roster:

Eric Weddle – he is one of the best safeties in the league. He hasn’t really stood out like last season, but he still has been solid. He would be my bet for the only Chargers player to make the roster. He will be in competitions with Ed Reed and Jairus Byrd for the starting position.

Mike Scifres – one of the best punters in the league and this could finally be the time that he makes the roster.

Corey Liuget – SEVEN sacks from a defensive end in a 3-4 defense. He also has been batting down balls like he is Dikembe Mutombo.

Donald Butler – he has been strong in the middle of the defense and is quickly becoming an impact player. He may not make it this year, but it could be very soon that he makes it to one of the Pro Bowls.
