Shaun Phillips Now Has 2nd Most Sacks In Chargers History

Shaun Phillips moved to second on the Chargers All-Tike list for most sacks passing Gary “Big Hands” Johnson. Johnson had 67 sacks in his career as a Bolt.

Phillips sacked New York Jets Greg McElroy to move up on the list. McElroy has been a sitting duck for the Jets offense and it would not be surprising for Phillips to pick up another one or two before the game is over.

Next up in the Chargers All-Time list: Leslie O’neal. Don’t think Phillips will catch O’neal, who had 105.5 sacks in his Chargers career.
