The Chargers signed rookie RB Edwin Baker today to fill the hole that Ryan Mathews left on the roster. Baker will probably be behind Curtis Brinkley on the depth chart and will not see too much action in the final two games of the year. He didn’t really impress in the preseason and will have to deal with a depleted offensive line when he gets his opportunity. If Ronnie Brown has to miss any more time, then he could see a lot more action.
