Ryan Mathews Should See Lots of Action Sunday

Ronnie Brown is going to miss the game. That opens up a ton of touches for Ryan Mathews. Time for the kid to take advantage and make some good things happen.

Ronnie a town has been getting snaps on passing downs, third downs and during 2-minute drills. All those snaps are freed up for Ryan to take over. Ryan hasn’t had the breakout season that we all and hoped, but he has been splitting time in the backfield. He will get his chance to get into a rhythm this time around. He will be asked to protect forPhilip Rivers a lot also with the line decimated with injuries.

Could we finally get that first 100 yard game of the season? Could we get his 2nd touchdown of the year?

He hasn’t broken out at all. He stopped fumbling the ball and has stayed away from the injury bug, but he hasn’t made a big impact on offense. Time to make something happen kid!
