Eddie Royal was finally back on the practice field for the San Diego Chargers. Royal injured his hamstring on November 18th against the Broncos and has not played since. He could see his return to action this week against the Carolina Panthers. Don’t know how the team would choose to use him. He was supposed to be the punt return and kickoff specialist with Richard Goodman going down with injury, but he has been sitting sideline. He was supposed to be the main receiver in the slot, but Micheal Spurlock proved to be of value there against the Steelers. He may just play solitaire with Robert Meachem on the bench.

Tyronne Green, Donald Butler,Demorrio Williams and Ronnie Brown did not practice today with the team.
