How About That No Name Offensive Line

Three starters missing from the offensive line and playing against the leagues top pass defense and we dominated the line of scrimmage in the pass game. Some things just don’t make any sense at all. Philip Rivers has been running for his life all season and all of a sudden, he was able to manage some time to throw the football?

Players that didn’t have an NFL job at the start of the season were starting at opposite ends of the Chargers offensive line. Kevin Haslam and Reggie Wells were given game balls after their performances.

Rex Hadnot had to fill in again at left guard and even Nick Hardwick had to miss some playing time with an injury. Louis Vasquez was the only starting offensive lineman that was left in the game.

The pass blocking was strong, but the running attack still left something to be desired. The running game has been a mess all season though. That is also probably another story to write about. At least for one day, the offensive line did their job and we won the game.
