Morning Dump: San Diego Chargers News Around the Web

TMZ obtained video the website said shows the singer, a Cincinnati Bengals fan, getting aggressive with a Chargers fan wearing an Igor Olshansky jersey (Olshansky played for the Chargers from 2004 to 2008). The fan, who was not identified, told the site that Lachey and his die-hard Bengals fan buddies heckled him and his Chargers jersey for much of the second half. Lachey made one comment about Olshansky that crossed the line.

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Chargers placed wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu and center David Molk on injured reserve and replaced them Tuesday with center Colin Baxter and guard-tackle Stephen Schilling.

Each quarter of the season has gotten progressively worse, much like the Chargers themselves over the course of a game.

The Bolts followed up a 3-1 start with a 1-3 second quarter and recently ended a dismal 0-4 stretch with a loss against Cincinnati.

The San Diego Chargers have experienced bad seasons before, but 2012 is turning into not only one of the worst in recent memory, but in history. There is just a whole lot of nothing going right for the Bolts, and blame can be pointed in many directions. Thing is, that is exactly what will happen once the season is over.

The empty seats, depleted roster, television blackouts and half-baked promises are telling.

Ditto the Chargers’ 4-8 record, which took another hit Sunday with their losing streak reaching four.
