2013 NFL Mock Draft: And The San Diego Chargers Select...

The FanSided crew has already started their mock drafts. Teams are getting eliminated from the playoffs and other teams, like the Broncos, are clinching the division. Our San Diego Chargers are jockeying for draft position now. We are sitting in the top 10 and have some holes to fill. Mainly on the offensive front to get some protection for Philip Rivers.

Here is the selection in the latest FanSided Mock Draft:

7. San Diego Chargers – Jake Matthews, Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M
Much like the Eagles, San Diego needs to improve their offensive line and they get to snag the other offensive tackle from Texas A&M. When you play on the same team as Luke Joeckel and are still able to stand out on the film, you know you have the chops to transition to the NFL and make an impact. Matthews would be just what Philip Rivers ordered.

Now that is what I am talking about! Get some BEEF up front! Get some beef to protect Philip Rivers and to give the running game a chance.

Bring in Big Boy Jake Matthews and let him start at the tackle position. He stands at 6-foot-5, 305 pounds. He is a Junior and will need to announce that he is entering the NFL draft, but he would be a solid selection for the Bolts to help fix that jacked up offensive line.
