Here is the full report from KCTV in Kansas City:

Police are investigating two deadly shootings Saturday morning that they said are related.

The shootings involve a Chiefs player and his girlfriend.

The first shooting was reported about 8 a.m. at a home near 54th Street and Chrysler Avenue. The second shooting was reported a short time later at a Chiefs practice facility located on the Arrowhead facility.

Officials said the Chiefs player shot and killed his girlfriend and then drove to the practice facility where he shot and killed himself.

It’s unknown if people were at Arrowhead or any of its surrounding facilities at the time.

The rumors are flying in who the player could be. Still a sad, sad story. Fans from San Diego are sensitive to this type of story after Junior Seau took his own life. Prayers out there to anyone that is involved.

Stay tuned to this post as more information is revealed.

Update: Various sources are reporting that LB Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend and then killed himself at the training facility. The player apparently was confronted with Chiefs coaches in the parking lot before he put the gun to his head and committed suicide.

Apparently he did it right in front of Scott Pioli (I think) and Romeo Crennell right after thanking them.
