Ravens S Ed Reed Will Play Sunday vs Chargers

It looks like Ravens S Ed Reed will be available against the Chargers this weekend. Reed was suspended by the league for repeated violations of hitting defenseless players. He appealed the suspension and it was reduced from a suspension to a $50,000 fine.

Former Chargers defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell made the ruling and said that his actions were “egregious” but “not so egregious” to warrant a one-game suspension. Is it weird that a coach that was fired by Norv Turner and company made that ruling?

So, how many times will Ed Reed pick off Philip Rivers this weekend?

the ravens are one of the best defenses in the league. they will face the chargers o-line. it doesn’t matter what teddy cortrell ruled on. without ed reed PR may only throw three picks instead of 5. this is on the chargers to show they can turn things around, and get it “fixed”.

it’s still right there for them to make the post season. Like PR said, “we’ve been through this before, and we’ve bounced back…”. Problem with that is? this is what PR also has said, “.. this is a whole new team. that was last years team that’s behind us. this a different football club…”.

you can’t have it both ways.
