Chargers Showing No Interest in Stanford Routt

Sounds like we won’t be in the bidding for former Chiefs CB Stanford Routt.

Routt was released by the Chiefs earlier in the week and cleared through waivers. He probably could be picked up for a fairly cheap contract. I guess the Chargers plan to keep rolling Antoine Cason out there and hope that Shareece Wright can get healthy enough to unseat him for that starting job. Let’s hope Vincent Jackson doesn’t completely abuse our secondary on Sunday.

I am hearing voices from beyond the grave…. it sounds like someone is saying… “Pass interference… defense… #20.. the ball will be placed at the one yard line… first down”… it’s faint though… bwahaha!

Time to start the T-Rex and blitz the QB. VJax can’t burn us if Freeman only has 2 seconds to set.

Dang it! That $20,000 fine that the towel boy cost us in the stick-um case used up all the money that AJ was going to offer Routt! Guess we’re stuck with Cason
