How Long Has Vincent Jackson Been Waiting For This Day?

How long has Vincent Jackson been waiting for this day? He probably will act like he is not excited about facing his former team, but we all know that he has some animosity against the Chargers.

For years he has been trying to get paid top dollar by the Chargers organization. He sat out most of the 2010 season in hopes of getting his big pay day, but he ended up playing for NFL pennies that season. His former CHargers teammates have hinted that he is a prima donna. Fans questioned if he was just a product of Philip Rivers and Norv Turner.

Chargers fans know Vincent’s skills on the field. It is more apparent this season that he was as good for Philip as Philip was for him. They were an awesome tandem on offense. Now, Vincent is working with Josh Freeman at quarterback and he is making impact plays in those ugly sherbert uniforms.

On Sunday, he gets to face some the corners that he went up against in practice every single day. He knows them inside and out and they know him just as well.

VJ is at the top of his game right now. He can out-muscle Antoine Cason and he can run by Quentin Jammer. Don’t know what the Chargers game plan will be to stop VJ from going off, but they better be ready.

Maybe they should just give him a few drinks at the bar and just maybe he will add another DUI to that list.

What can I say, but I hope he has an awful day? I hope that our pass rush can get to Freeman consistently, and force poor decisions. I hope Phillips, Liuget, Ingram, Johnson, and English can come up with some sacks. I hope they can double team Jackson, and make their other receivers beat us. I hope our run defense continues to hold their backs to low yardage, making then one dimensional. I hope Weddle, and Butler can come up on an interception. Maybe a Williams pick six? I hope Royal returns a touchdown. I hope our offensive line plays great. I hope that Gates & Floyd shine brighter, and make him realize why we let him go. I hope Philip makes him wonder why he left. I hope Xander & Tutu have great games, and show him that you don’t need to pay one player 55 million to have a productive passing attack. I hope our running game keeps him on the sideline, as we eat up the final minutes. I hope that Norv & Pagano know him better than all these guys, and call the game perfectly. It’s a lot of hope, but that would be great…. wouldn’t it?

    Antoine Cason will guard him….HAHHAHAhHAHA!!!
Nothing spells JUSTICE or Revenge better than: getting max contract elsewhere, performing, old team’s replacement failing to perform, and banging AJ Smith’s niece.
In this case we Win by losing. AJ Smith looks stupid and we replace him. Im rooting for VJ

I agree. Just tired with all the talent that has left this roster and gone on to dominate for other teams =[
