San Diego Super Chargers Return?

The San Diego Super Chargers returned in last nights game where the 1-7 Kansas City Chiefs were soundly defeated 13 – 31 by the 4-4 San Diego Chargers.  The Chargers were an example of how teams that are headed to the playoffs do it.

The Chargers we witnessed last night were the same guys that were out there weeks one, two and four and I was glad to see them back!  If we had not fallen down and lost three in a row, I would be using words like “dominate”, “motivated” and “playoff contenders”.  I used those words in the beginning of the season and I want to use them liberally again.  But, where those traits were and where these guys were the last three weeks will remain a mystery and even the blue blooded die hard fan in me wants to proclaim they are back.  This game was like a nice gift, I need more to convince me that they will not stray again.

I say that because there were glimpses of those Chargers we do not want to see again. Like the odd fake dive into the end zone by Mathews while Rivers was throwing an interception to Berry.   Fortunately for the Bolts this was seconds before the half and the Chiefs could not capitalize.

All that said, I am ready to look forward to our next game and another win.

Boltup!
