Shaun Phillips – “I would love for Jamaal Charles to have five carries (again)”

Denny Medley-US PRESSWIRE

The Chiefs have a revolving door at the quarterback position these days. One day it is Matt Cassel, then it is Brady Quinn, then they go back to Sucky Cassel. Either way, it is a giant suckfest at the quarterback position.

At least they have a talented runningback in Jamaal Charles to constantly feed the rock. Too bad they don’t even know how to do that right.

Charles only had FIVE carries last week (and I complain that Ryan Mathews doesn’t get the ball enough). They must have put him on timeout for all the fumbles he had the last time he faced us.

“I would love for Jamaal Charles to have five carries (again),” Chargers OLB Shaun Phillips said this week. “He’s their best player.”

If they don’t want to use him in Kansas City, I am sure we can find a way to misuse his talents in San Diego!

Norv might be a mess of a head coach, but Romeo Crennel could be ten times worse. When asked why Charles had less than half a dozen carries, his response was “Now, that I’m not exactly sure.”
