Chargers vs Chiefs: QB Brady Quinn Status in Question For Thursday

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

The Kansas City Chiefs have as big of a mess on their plate as we do in San Diego. Their starting QB Brady Quinn may not be able to play on Thursday. He is being evaluated for a possible consussion. He would be the starter if he gets cleared from the medical staff.

Sadly, the Chargers could suffer a loss to either Brady Quinn or Matt Cassel on Thursday.

Whether it is Brady Quinn or Matt Cassel throwing the ball for the Chiefs will not matter. The Chargers need to get the sputtering offense in first gear. The offensive mastermind and his best friend Pro Bowl quarterback need to put some points on the board.

Can we put pink slips on the line in this game? Romeo Crennel and Norv Turner both can put their jobs on the line and whoever wins get sto keep their job for another few months, the loser must get fired on the spot. That game would probably end in a tie and both franchises would have to struggle through their mess for a few months longer.

I cannot see how the Chiefs may pull this one. They’re more pathetic than the Bolts and have serious quarterback issues while ours is just plain silly but then again, I probably said the same thing about the Browns and we all know what happened next.
