The weather should add a little more of a challenge for the San Diego Chargers. The forecast for tomorrow morning’s game calls for north winds 15 to 20 mph and the chance of rain is near 100 percent (findlocalweather.com). We wouldn’t mind if the league returned our sticky towel!
For a team that has struggled with turnovers, the weather will add another challenge. The ball is going to be wet and the wind will be a factor when Philip Rivers tries to throw the ball. With the rain and the wind, the Chargers may want to rely more on the running game with Ryan Mathews. Ryan better bring some extra stick-em, we don’t need those fumbles.
At the end of the day, both teams have to deal with the weather. The game could get sloppy. People will lose their footing. There will be some bad throws. Some balls will be fumbled on the ground… but that is the way the Browns (and us) normally play, so the weather should bring more opportunities to capitalize on those mistakes.
