The calendar can’t flip soon enough for Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers. The team has been notorious for starting slow out of the gates and you can easily see the struggles by looking at Philip’s career record in each of the months.
Philip has a 44% win percentage in the month of October! 12 Wins – 15 Losses.
Maybe he is too busy carving pumpkins, buying candy and figuring out costumes for all them kids. He SUCKS in October. Philip has 38 career losses – TWENTY-FIVE of those losses have come in the months of September and October. Every season we hope for a quicker start, but we always end up in the same state of panic.
Once we flip that calendar to the month of November, things are a lot more rainbows and butterflies. Philip has a 77% winning percentage once we start prepping for the holidays. Maybe that is why he is trying to start Movember a little early by rocking that mustache. Whatever it takes!
Phil’s numbers don’t get better. The interceptions don’t disappear. He just wins ballgames. Start out with a win against the Browns on Sunday and then this team can go on a run for the final months of the season. That is what we do!
