Good news. Bad news. Or is it the other way around? When the Chargers tromped into New Orleans they were #1 in the AFC West and looking to keep the Saints with a big 0 in the win column. Unfortunately, the Bolts fell short of the win (due to horrible officiating, IMO) and the Saints were able to improve to 1-4. The only bright spot is that the Broncos and the Chiefs also lost. With the Raiders having a bye week this is how the AFC West is shaping up going into week six:
San Diego Chargers 3-2
Denver Broncos 2-3
Oakland Raiders 1-3
Kansas City Chiefs 1-4
Next week the Chargers play the Broncos at home. Look for a big win for the Chargers that will result in a two game lead.
