Sean Payton Will Attend Chargers-Saints Game

The New Orleans Saints will hope that suspended coach Sean Payton will bring a little bit of winning spirit with him to the dome on Sunday. Payton will be attending the game in hopes to see Drew Brees break Johnny Unitas’ record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass.

Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis and Joe Vitt will all be present for the game. All were suspended by the league for their roles in the recent bounty scandal.

The Chargers defense will try to stop history from happening against them. Brees currently has 57 consecutive games with a passing touchdown, tied with Johnny Unitas.

Brees can get that record all he wants, the record I care about most is 4-1. Or in the Saints case 0-5! Get that win and I could care less if he gets the record or not.

I hope Rivers, Butler, Weddle, Spikes, and Phillips take that personally. I thought Payton was banned from contact.. I better not see any weird looks, or hand signals. They shouldn’t even be in the building! Effin’ crooks, every one of them…. were they allowed at all of the games, or just this one? They should watch it from their couch, where they all belong. If this is special treatment, it’s shady… nuff said.

absolutely agree with you…. he was suspended for a reason. there are consequences for his actions, but now the league is lightening up. LAME

Brees has turned into an egomaniac. It’s all about him. Last week, Payton said he was not going to the game…. this week. It will be a huge distraction. This is all they have.

      Ugh… So right

He wants to show off. This is the guy that makes more in one year than his entire offense.
