Maybe Reggie Wells just sits out in front of Chargers Park waiting for Norv and AJ to come in. Maybe he holds a sign on the street corner of Aero Drive that says, “Will block for food.” Whatever Reggie Wells is doing, he is doing it well enough to get signed by the team for the fourth time this season. He has also been released 3 times.
Will the merry-go-round continue this week against the Saints? Jared Gaither is back on the field playing in games and practicing, so there was a possibility that the team didn’t need Wells back. The team may need to bring in a corner against the high flying Saints offense. The Chargers only used 3 corners against the Chiefs on Sunday.
With Wells back on the roster, the Chargers have another decision to make. Will Nick Novak be thanked for his contributions on Sunday and be asked to pack up his stuff?
The Reggie Wells carousel continues. I wonder if he even roots for the Chargers on Sundays.
UPDATE (12:29 pm):
Looks like the report that was mentioned by Aaron Wilson could be false. Norv says that it could be difficult for the team to bring back Reggie Wells with the current roster:
Chargers usually sign Reggie Wells back after a game. Norv Turner said he thinks that’ll be hard this time.
