Chargers Release Reggie Wells for Third Time

The San Diego Chargers released Reggie Wells for the third time this year. If Jared Gaither is able to play, they may not sign him back for the fourth time this year. Wells was released in order to make room for K Nick Novak. Novak was signed because K Nate Kaeding injured his groin and will not be able to play on Sunday.

The Chargers only have three healthy corners on the roster and will likely sign Greg Gatson again before the game. We will have to see who is next on the cut list when they bring him up.
