Here are the questions that Patrick Allen, editor of Arrrowhead Addict, sent my direction for the week:

1. The Chargers were cruising and then the Falcons came and pooped on their heads. What happened?

The Falcons are pretty dang good and I am sure that you all know that out in KC as well. We looked like the team we were last year in that game. Turnovers killed us. Philip Rivers had happy feet and was throwing to ATL players instead of his own and Ryan Mathews came back for his first game and put the ball on the ground at the 4 yard line, when we were about to take an early lead. Killed all momentum and destroyed are hopes.

2. Vincent Jackson is gone. Who is Rivers throwing to these days?

Malcom Floyd is the main target at receiver and the team just rewarded him with a 3-year extension to his contract. Without Vincent, the team has been heavily relying on the tight ends and running backs in the passing game. Backup TE Dante Rosario caught 3 touchdowns in a game with the absence of Antonio Gates. Expect more of the same until Philip can get in a rhythm with Robert Meachem.

Meachem has found ways to get open, but Philip just has not been able to get the ball to him.

3. You got our boy Jackie Battle over there. I loved the Battle Axe when he was in KC. Coaches always seem to think he is just good enough to sit on the bench but whenever they have to put him in, the guy produces. What do you guys think of Jackie?

Some people love him and are ready for him to get more and more action. Some even want him to start, but that seems a bit overboard. He has produced when he has gotten in the game and he probably will be stealing some carries from Ryan Mathews. He is productive and always gains positive yards. Could be our goal line back soon.

4. If you could take one player from the Chiefs and put him on the Chargers who would it be and why?

I like this question and probably will be using it in the future. You actually get me to compliment someone on your team, when all I want to do is take a poop on it. What if I responded NOBODY, YOUR TEAM SUCKS? I would then probably be the typical San Diego troll and that would be stupid.

I really want Tamba Hali. He changes the game on defense and has terrorized the Chargers, but we already have players like Shaun Phillips and Melvin Ingram on the outside.

The players that makes the most sense would be Taste the Dwayne Bowe. We have Malcom Floyd and Robert Meachem as our starting receivers and moving each one of those guys down on the depth chart gives the team some nice weapons to attack defenses. Give Philip more talent and watch what he does with it.

5. What is SD’s biggest weakness that you think the Chiefs should exploit Sunday?

Attack our left side of the offensive line. Our best left tackle, Jared Gaither, will probably be sidelined for the game. We have an undrafted free agent, Mike Harris, starting at left tackle and he has gotten beaten like a drum. The more you send at him, the more he will get beaten. He can’t handle the speed rush either. Don’t try to bull him over, he can handle that… sort of.

Bonus: Game prediction?

It’s never easy and it is a big game for both teams. Going to predict Chargers 20 – Chiefs 17 and I will be pooping my pants the whole game. Maybe Philip won’t fumble the chance to win this time around.
