Chargers LB Demorrio Williams is our secret agent man

San Diego Chargers LB Demorrio Williams spent four seasons playing in the Kansas City Chiefs defense. Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel was the defensive coordinator since 2010 and then grabbed hold of the head coaching job last season.

Here are his thoughts on the knowledge that Demorrio picked up as a Chief:

“Demorrio knows the defense”, said Crennel. “He knows how we’ve tried to play and basically what techniques we’re going to use. He probably knows the adjustments we’re going to make, so he can probably tell them all of those things. Then it’s just a matter of the matchups as you say and who can do it better.”

Hopefully Norv took advantage of that extra insight this week during practice and preparation for the game Sunday. Let’s see how the offense responds this weekend.

If we look like we are one step ahead of Crennel and the KC defense, it could be because Demorrio shared a little insight with the coaching staff. It could also mean that Norv is better than at least one other head coach in the NFL.

Just give Demorrio the headset and let him call the plays!
