The San Diego Chargers and AJ Smith made a smart move by extending Malcom Floyd for another 3 seasons. He is one of the most humble wide receivers in the league and has great chemistry with Philip Rivers. He is a playmaker as long as he can stay healthy.
Now the Chargers need to look at locking up a few more players that are up for free agency at the end of the year. Here is a list of a few players that are up for a contract at the end of the season:
Both starting guards are up for free agency and both starting corners. It will be easier to lock up these players now, instead of waiting till free agency starts and letting them test the market.
