San Diego Chargers Stand Alone at #1 in AFC West

I realize that we are only headed into week three.  But this is not a headline that I have been able to write yet, so I did.  I am full of Bolt pride and ready for this weeks game against the Falcons.  Again, I was a Falcons fan yesterday and enjoyed watching them dismantle the Broncos, but this Sunday they are again the enemy.

The current standing in the AFC West are as follows:  Chargers 2-0, Broncos 1-1, Raiders 0-2, Chiefs 0-2

I Look forward to the Chargers staying strong for another game at home and for Gates and possibly Mathews to be back in the mix.  The Chargers have the potential, the desire and the right mix of talent and discipline going for them right now.  This ball is going to keep on rolling (hopefully out of our opponents hands) while the Raiders, Broncos and Chiefs continue to fall down.

Could this be our year?  Boltup!

I can’t wait for next Sunday! Especially in the light of this Michael Turner DUI thing.. I try not to feel good about things like that (especially about a good ex-Charger).. But, it is a nice distraction, at a time when we need the Falcons to be a little off-kilter.

I agree, if he gets suspended then that will be 42 less yards for them. Boltup!

lol. Although it would be nice to not have to worry about Tractor Turner, no decision will be made by the NFL before the week 3 game. Now, I think it would be precedent setting, and a great move by the Falcons, if they were to imply their own one game suspension for violating the team’s code of conduct policy. Most likely won’t happen but I feel like that would “butter the bread” on Roger Goodell’s plate. Probably won’t happen.

Yeah.. I am not feeling a suspension here for this game.. just a rough week for the guy who closed out Manning, and partied too hard afterward.. a short week on the west coast, against your old team, no less..that plays right into our hands… release the T-Rex!!!!

Hope our D exploits that with hard hits! It never ceases to amaze me how a millionaire would drive home drunk in a situation like that… you deserve the pokey.. ever heard of a cab.. or a LIMO?!!!! Good Lord!

I agree Cindi! Which was not that good, except for that “PHEW” final close out run.. …. 27 points and 42 rushing yards wouldn’t have beat Rivers this week.. just sayin’… In fact, CJ had less than that anyway.. so did RE-RUN-DMC!

The word non-factor comes to mind.

Good call Cindi. So what if it’s only two games. We’ve been dying for football and now that it’s here why not be proud of where we stand. It’s very early but I am damn proud of our Bolts. It is not easy to get wins in the NFL. And we have won our first two.

Love what the writer added in on his opinion. He wants us up at #1 in AFC West too!

I thought we’d be in first place after week 1 but I’ll take week 2 anytime.
