Chargers Get 24-Hour Extension To Lift Blackout

by San Diego Chargers

The Chargers have about 2,100 tickets left to be sold for Sunday’s home opener and were given 24 hours to try and lift the blackout. The team asks all the fans that are attending the game to wear all white and the team will be retiring Junior Seau’s jersey.

Hopefully, the fans will buy enough tickets to lift the blackout. It is an embarrassment when we can’t get it done.

Yesterday, the team announced that there were ‘several thousand’ tickets that were available, but today we were actually given a number and now it seems more and more likely that we will be able to see the game from the comfort of our couches.
