THE BOLTDOWN: Philip Rivers Spectacular in His Blandness

Rivers missed a couple of wide open passes, including one in the end-zone, but he had an excellent day. Anytime turnovers are avoided, the Chargers are probably going to win. With no help at all from the running game and a rookie left tackle (who played great), Rivers did what he had to do to come away with a win.

Fantastic job.

I’m really beside myself with Philip’s great play tonight.
