THE BOLTDOWN: Oakland Raiders No Longer Intimidating

After watching the Oakland Raiders take on the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night, I was surprised that guys like Rolando McClain, Tommy Kelly, and especially Richard Seymour were not their usual mean, nasty, selves.

Seymour was the one player that successfully stood up to the Chargers’ bullying when they were slapping teams around and laughing in their face during the 2006 – 2007 run.

After they mistakenly firing Tom Cable, the Raiders seemed to have lost that offensive lineman mentality they’ve had for the last couple of years.

That’s great for the Chargers and the rest of the AFC West.
