Chargers vs Raiders: Bold Predictions

Make your bold predictions for the game. Also put in your predictions for the final score of the game. Here are a few predictions I have for the game:

Larry English will lead the team in sacks today
He had a great preseason and he is on a mission to make people remember who he is.

Eric Weddle will get a pick
Can this really be a bold prediction anymore? Last year, it would be bold, because we thought that anything that hit his hands would fall to the ground.

Ronnie Brown will throw a pass
Wildcat? Norv Turner opening up the playbook this early in the season? Have to do something in order to win!

Mike Harris will do awesome
Richard Seymour lines up inside and will have to deal with Tyronne Green and Nick Hardwick more. Harris will be matched up with Matt Shaughnessy and he is less of a pass rush threat.

Antonio Gates will go NUTS
I don’t see anyone on the Raiders that can match up with Gates. He has to be a big part of the offensive plan.

No Chargers Turnovers
I don’t know if this is a prayer or a bold prediction!

Final Score Prediction: Chargers 31 – Raiders 13

Put your bold predictions in the comments section and also your prediction on the score.

These are great predictions. I could see them all happening. BOLTUP!

  • Kenny Redman

I’m happy to see the old Jammer…..oh, and Cason is holding all his recievers to 1st downs. Where’s the couch to go along with that cushion

I predict that English will sputter, Mouton and Williams(who?) will not play up to Bront Byrds ability nor Andrew Gachkar. Who made up this dwefense? It is playing really good so far, but if those players had been hung on to what would have been Smith’s prejuduce is showing. Brown Garay and Gaither if they had been let sit out the preseason might have made this look even better. But the Chargers definately came to play.
