Philip Rivers has had the Oakland Raiders hot on his trail in three out of the last four games he’s played against them, but that’s because he hasn’t had his entire supporting cast.
In this next game on Monday night 9/10/2012, he’ll once again be without two key players in running back Ryan Mathews and left tackle Jared Gaither, but he’ll have a pretty full arsenal at his disposal otherwise.
Raider killer Malcom Floyd will be on hand and healthy along with Antonio Gates, who feels fine for the first time in years.
Ronnie Brown will try to fill the void left by Mathews and the defense will try to contain the Raiders powerful running game. A feat the defense has not accomplished against a power running game in years.
