How many wins are you predicting for the San Diego Chargers this season? Here is my breakdown of the season:

Week 1: LOSS at Oakland
Week 2: WIN vs Tennessee
Week 3: LOSS vs Atlanta
Week 4: LOSS at Kansas City
Week 5: LOSS at New Orleans
Week 6: WIN vs Denver
Week 7: BYE
Week 8: WIN at Cleveland
Week 9: WIN vs Kansas City
Week 10: WIN at Tampa Bay
Week 11: LOSS at Denver
Week 12: WIN vs Baltimore
Week 13: LOSS vs Cincinnati
Week 14: LOSS at Pittsburgh
Week 15: WIN vs Carolina
Week 16: WIN at New York (A)
Week 17: WIN vs Oakland

NINE wins!

If things go like I predicted above, we will start out the season at 1-4! People will lose their minds early in the year and the FIRE NORV train will be rolling hard! The bandwagon will be empty and only the crazy fans (points at myself) will still be watching the train wreck.

Then, as the Norv Turner teams like to do, the Chargers will catch a little bit of fire and go on a run.

If they can flip one of those losses around in the back half of the season, it will probably mean a playoff spot. A wild card spot might come down to those games against Baltimore, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.

Winning the division will come down to the division games (as they always do). My current prediction has them at 3-3 in the division. If they can steal one of those games on the road (like this Monday Night), we could be wearing that division crown again.

What are your predictions for the season? Post your predictions for the season in the comments section and we will bring back this post later in the season to see who is our resident Nostradamus.

If the Chiefs stay healthy, I think they will take the division. The way I see the Chargers taking it is if Ingram has a break out year worthy of the DRotY award. Improve on 3rd down, and we can do it. Rivers throwing INTs will mean nothing if our D steps up and we stop them from scoring.

I have them sweeping the Raiders and finishing at 10-6. Other than that our predictions are pretty much the same. Man i hope we beat the Steelers seems like they always beat us

Hahahahahaha… you called it here first!!

I think some people are underestimating our defense. Liuget is dominating the front line, our weakest pass rusher led the team in sacks last year, English is showing why he was a 1st round pick, and our all Pro Weddle is hitting evan harder. Pagano seems to like going after the quarterback which will shorten the amount of time that Cason, and Jammer will have to cover. I’m saying 11-6

    • Kenny Redman

      oops….11-5

I like it… and very valid points

I like it a lot. But you predict 10-6 while only showing 5 losses.

I don’t care what the record is, as long as the Chargers destroy the playoff scene.

We went 8-8 without a defense last year.
