Oakland Raiders Sign WR Derek Hagan

The Oakland Raiders are hurting at the receiver spot, Dennarius Moore and Jacoby Ford are both hampered with injuries and may not be able to play on Monday Night against the San Diego Chargers. In order to add some depth to their receiving unit, the Raiders signed WR Derek Hagan and they also worked out WR Jabar Gaffney. They took a chance on Roscoe Parrish in the preseason also, but that didn’t work out.

It is a possibility that we see Hagan in week 1. I wouldn’t mind catching a little break, having Moore and Ford sit out Monday Night with injuries. The Chargers defense could then place more focus on Darren McFadden and that running attack. We will keep an eye on the Oakland injury report to see how their receivers progress through the week.
