The San Diego Chargers placed WR Vincent Brown on the injured list, but he will be eligible to return later in the year. He is expected to be out at least 8 weeks with a broken ankle and his move onto the injured list will open up a roster spot for the Chargers to sign an offensive tackle or a cornerback. The team needs some veteran depth at both positions and the roster spot is needed.

Hopefully Brown will be able to make a return later in the season from his injury. It is still a long road to recovery, but he could be a boost to the offense when he does make it back. He will be eligible to return to practice in 6 weeks and can be activated in 8 weeks. Here is hoping for a smooth recovery.
