Philip Rivers Tries Throwing Left Handed In A Game

If you missed the game, then you are luckier than the rest of us!

I did have to share one moment from that football game though for us all to live again. I know myself and I probably will mention this moment throughout the season.

Philip Rivers rolls out of the pocket to his left side and in order to try and avoid a sack, he moves the ball to his left hand and tries to chuck it over the line of scrimmage. It didn’t get there and we got an intentional grounding penalty. YOLO

Is his throwing motion the same left handed as it is right handed?

    Fail!

He learned to throw when he was a kid. His dad used a full sized football, so Philip learned to “push” his throws. That evolved into his unique throwing style, which as we learned last night he uses with both hands.
