Chargers Injury Report: Green Back To Practice, Ingram Working on Side

Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE

We got one piece back at practice from the offensive line. LG Tyronne Green was back at practice working with the guys. Now we wait for the other guys to join in on the fun.

C Nick Hardwick was present, but he was just focusing on getting mental reps. LT Jared Gaither was doing more work on the rehab field. Hopefully both of these guys are ready for the opener.

LB Melvin Ingram was doing work on the rehab field with his deep thigh bruise. His leg was wrapped and he was seen walking gingerly by the media.

There was a long list of Chargers joining him doing work on the side: RB Curtis Brinkley, RB Ryan Mathews, LT Jared Gaither, CB Marcus Gilchrist, LB DeMorrio Williams, DE Corey Liuget, DT Antonio Garay, CB Quentin Jammer, TE Donte Rosario, DT Garrett Brown, and S Darrell Stuckey.

Hopefully the list starts to shrink as we get closer to the season opener in Oakland.

    Not a big fan of Pre-Season Vanilla…
They may as well focus on doing scrimmages like they do with the Cowgirls for Pre-Season with a non-contact emphasis….Save the full contact for when it counts….They should still be able to evaluate all the talent on the roster this way without risking injuries…..Go Chargers…..

Absolutely agree with that. but it is all about the money

This could be the push for a longer regular season….more real games = more $$$$$…
