Chargers LB Melvin Ingram Leaves Game with Injury. Believed to be a Deep Thigh Bruise

The San Diego Chargers have a lot of expectations for rookie LB Melvin Ingram this season. So when he went down against the Minnesota Vikings and struggled getting back up, everyone in Charger Nation held their breath. He was chasing after the quarterback and went down to the turf and stayed down. The Chargers training staff had to help him off the field and Ingram hobbled to the sideline.

It looked like it could have been a knee injury, but he was seen on the sideline with his thigh/leg wrapped. They are calling the injury a thigh bruise and he will likely miss the final preseason game against the 49ers. He could be able to return for the season opener against the Oakland Raiders though. Let’s hope he can be ready for the black hole.

After the game, Norv called it a deep thigh bruise, but they are going to take some precautionary x-rays.

Yep, were back folks, Turner looked like the old coach he is. I haven’t seen that dry of a offense in a long time. He gets a few more guys injured and squeeks out a win. Lee and Embree should make the team as they show better than Whitehurst. Willie should be held on the practice squad. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Turner gets a couple of key positions injured next week. This is the same ol-sameol. Turner is on course for another showing on why he’s the worst coach in the NFL. I had hoped he’d wise up but now I’m certain he’ll find a way to lose quite a few games by playing scared.

Right, and so Gaither & Green was the answer since last season…Unbelievable that they just didn’t address this enough and went buck wild on the Defensive side of the ball…
Poor O-Line Play equals Poor play from Rivers……I’ll cross my fingers, but this O-Line is gonna be what does this team in if they don’t fix it…..I’ve got my NFL Sunday Ticket for the season, so we shall see…..Go Chargers!

And it was really Norv who ruined the economy 4 years ago, too.

The football gods were kind to us today. Hopefully they’ll be kind enough to heal Gaither’s back, Tyronne’s foot and Hardwicks”s headache before the MNF against the faders.

Making my point again, preseason is evil!
