How long do we wait till we get Melvin Ingram in the starting lineup? He already steals all of our attention when he is on the field and he already has shown that he is a game changer. He is constantly in the backfield putting pressure on quarterbacks.
Do we really need to give Jarret Johnson the courtesy of being the starter since we signed him to a free agent contract? Double-J was a good signing to help groom a young player like Courtney Upshaw or Shea McClellin, BUT because God gace Melvin Ingram short arms, he slipped in the draft and fell to us. Remember all those mock drafts that had Ingram in the Top 10 and sometimes in the Top 5? Who knew that short arms could make you slide down the draft so far.
Melvin doesn’t need to sit and wait. Get him out there and watch him make some plays. We will always have the veteran Double-J to fall back on if things don’t work out.
Start the T-Rex!
