It's Foolish To Question Jared Gaither's Motivation: Are You Foolish?

Are you foolish? Have you questioned Jared Gaither‘s motivation yet? The locals are restless and have questioned the man that is nicknamed “The Big Lazy.”

“It would be foolish to question any of my motivation,” Gaither said, via Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune. “I wouldn’t even pay any of those questions any attention. I wouldn’t even waste my time on answering.”

UT San Diego columnist, Kevin Acee, went onto a local radio station and expressed his frustration on the situation.

“I’m not saying that the team is saying he should be back right now, but they’re saying he should be back right now”

The guys over at Bolts From the Blue took some good notes on that interview, so go check it out.

In Baltimore, Gatiher struggled through a foot injury in 2010 and Coach John Harbaugh felt that he overplayed the injury. He wouldn’t be doing something like that again, would he?

When someone has a history of overplaying an injury, then people will act ‘foolish’ and start to question their motivation when the occurrence seems to replay itself.

Am I foolish? YES!

Maybe we should ask an expert on the situation:

I am still waiting for that response, but unmotivated people “wouldn’t even pay any of those questions any attention.”

I’m defiantly foolish, I really hope he did not have much Guaranteed $ structured in his contract. Anyone know the details of his contract?

      4-year deal, $24.6 million contract. deal contains $13.5 guaranteed, including an $8 million signing bonus. 2012: $1 million, 2013: $4.5 million, 2014: $5 million, 2015: $6million

Awesome!! I have to admit that i was a little worried about this before we signed him this off season, It just really did not make sense that he could come in and pick up our system and preform the way he did Yet none of the other teams he has floated around with would keep him on there roster. I was concerned before reading this post but i am very concerned now after hearing his statements…. That’s just not the type of statement someone makes when they are working hard to recover and hungry to get back out on the field

His statements make him sound even more unmotivated. Like I want to slap the giant in the face! He would probably squash me like a bug, but it is annoying.

Just jump up and slap him then run away. you should be able to outrun him haha

DeSean Jackson is motivated to play football, not evaluate Gaither’s motivation so that expert opinion may take a minute. That said, Gaither has got to know that this game won’t end well for him if he’s cut over another injury or lack of drive to overcome another injury.

Im foolish for sure then. What is this guys problem? If we didnt need him so bad i would just say cut him. @epadaon:disqus- haha i cant believe you asked D.Jack that. Thats awesome
