Ryan Mathews Thinks He Will Be Ready For Season Opener

His legs are not broken. Who needs a clavicle anyway? Ryan Mathews told reporters “My legs aren’t broken. I heal pretty fast, so I think that’ll give me time to play against the Raiders (Gehlken).” He was also told that it was a 3-6 week recovery time.

We will have to just wait and see if he will actually be ready to go and if the coaches give him the green light. When he finally is ready to go, how long till something happens again? The track record tells us that something else will happen OR maybe this injury means that something already has happened.

If he does make it out for the game, the Raiders will have a big target on that busted clavicle and will want to make sure he is fully healthy. Monday Night can’t come fast enough!

Get well Ryan. Don’t rush back. There is no pleasing San Diego part time fans.

No wonder Chargers brass picked up so many running backs, they knew about Mathews injury! Would like to see Curtis Brinkley as the starter, I think he gives that extra to the team just like many undrafted players before him, they play with a chip on their shoulder. Ryan? Everybody knew he was as hard as glass.
