Ryan Mathews Out 4-6 Weeks With Broken Clavicle

So much for a break out year. If Ryan Mathews is going to have a breakout year it will have to start later than we want and the fragile label will be firmly attached. Ryan suffered a broken clavicle after taking one carry in the game and will have surgery on it tomorrow. The recovery is expected to take 4-6 weeks or if you are Jared Gaither, we will never know how long it will take.

Now the opportunity to start will go to Ronnie Brown. He has the experience to back him and that was the main reason he was brought over. It will open up chances for Edwin Baker, Michael Hayes or Curtis Brinkley to get a roster spot.

Remember that kid story humpty dumpty?
