Morning Dump

Chargers coach Norv Turner began to install an abbreviated game plan for Thursday’s preseason game against the Packers. Tuesday’s afternoon full-team practice resembled more of a slow paced OTA than a typical hard-hitting training camp practice.

Replacement referees made their debut at the Hall of Fame preseason game on Sunday, August 5, 2012 and it was obvious they weren’t used to the action. This week though, there will be an even great breakthrough as the first female referee in the history of the NFL will be part of the crew calling the game between the San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers on Thursday, August 9, 2012.

CB Shareece Wright (round three, 2011) brought a Chargers hat to his draft party a year ago with the hopes his favorite team would call his name. Wright’s dream was to play for San Diego and he envisioned a break out rookie season. The dream came true, but his rookie campaign fell far short of meeting expectations.

The San Diego Chargers are suddenly a team that is under the radar. After being a perennial Super Bowl favorite for years, many folks are off the Chargers’ bandwagon. Generally, not much is expected from the Chargers in 2012 after two straight playoff-less efforts.

I like the Bolts being under the radar, underdogs always have something to prove! The Chargers always play well with their backs against the wall! Screw Manning and the Broncos, in my opinion this division will be a battle between Chargers and Chiefs(even with that QB of theirs!) BOLT UP!!!
